Recently while playing on my 3DS I soon realised that the L button wouldn't do anything when I pressed it. It appears to be a hardware issue as the L button feels more loose and less satisfying to click than the R button; this has made me lose my motivation with actually using the system and I would like to have guidance on the matter, as I'm not really sure what to do at this point. Thanks in advance.
I sure hope i don't have to write a forum signature!
If it's still under warranty, send it in for repairs. If it isnt, maybe consider moving up to the XL and transferring your data? Besides that I cant really think of anything you could do. Sorry. :/
The samething happened to mine a month ago. All you need to do is blow into it or get something tiny such as a toothpick to remove the dust trapped inside of it. I tried both methods and it worked out perfectly, hope I helped out...
3DS games:
Mario Kart 7
Zelda OoT 3D
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Shadow Wars
Pokemon Black FC: 2666 2484 8599
Kid Icarus Uprising
Heroes of Ruin
and more.
Crime doesn't pay, unless you are really good at it then those who are legal criminals ...
My R button did that quite awhile ago... as others above me have said, blow into the button. Of course, for me that only fixed it for awhile, and then I'd have to blow in it again... eventually I just got the buttons repaired and they've had no problems since.
I remember that happening with my DSi XL, I was worried that this would get in the way of my flipnote making, but then I found out about the swell method of blowing into the button, and I was all like.
.........Because I spent hours making more flipnotes.
I made Sheldon & Mr. Randoms back on Flipnote Hatena, now i'm a kangaroo mod that has a funko pop collection!
I'm not keen politics since that stuff is spooky, I'd rather watch SpongeBob over Fox News anyways!
