Topic: Kid Icarus: Uprising Spotpass Weapons

@Prof_Clayton - I naturally got a better understanding of it all as I played through. It's like when I first heard of EVs and IVs in Pokémon, no clue about them and I really didn't care but then I was interested. A little research later and suddenly I'm a bit of an expert.

@Knuckles - I still never bought that DLC. I use other DLC maps for grind time. Interesting point on Galeforce now that I gave it some thought, I was thinking is wouldn't matter against causal players, but your right, a player on Classic would likely reset. I'll remember that when building my streetpass team from now on.

@LuigiMan200 - Sounds like you plan to still set it up with second seals or thought of it. I did the same one with my Chrom, mostly because I liked how they got along. I worked out some tactics from that marriage combination later and when I sit down with the children units, I should have a painfully annoying Great Lord.

@Prof_Clayton - Think of it like weapons in KI:U. Kind of like how palms differs from blades. The classes work like that and the skills are like the modifiers.

@Aqueous - Yeah, I'm finding that some of the children are quickly replacing their parents in my team; Cynthia replacing Sumia and Nah replacing Nowi but working with father Libra, (she's a War Cleric right now). I can have Noire become an Assassin like her dad and get Lethality the old-fashion way but then she'd most likely replace Lon'qu. She'd probably do a better job too; having loads more defense.

Class changes add a lot more strategy, specially when thinking about Streetpass teams.

@LuigiMan200 - Exactly why I'm not using them yet. They can beat out my starting units. Not that maxed out Sumia the Dark Flier would be easy to replace. The other thing is if I hold them back, I could make them all healers, to make Aversa more possible to pick up.

I do not have several accounts...I only have two...anyway, up for match?

BTW: anyone think it was a bad idea getting astra with Lethality?

Thats how I acted in the first playthrough, but in my second, I want an invincible army. Seeing how Lucina turned out, stronger than Chrom at lower levels than Chrom is now, I am doing something right.

@Knuckles @LuigiMan @Aqueous I really don't want to understand it though, it just doesn't interest me that much.
I like just sending out forces in small groups in a U shape, and then closing in on a group of targets. Then I have archers on horseback ride up and finish them off, and a healer heal the most damaged. :3
In later levels I travelled in a huge pack, of 9 like this:

With the X being MU that could OHKO with magic. Very effective. :3

Silly @clay, strategy is for kids! Grinding to the point where ending your turn in the middle of a crowd of enemies will instantly win you the battle is how you're supposed to do it. U_U

well what's your strongest unit?

@whynot-- Remember when my system was stolen? FEA was stolen too. So if you want to compare with a guy who hasn't even reached the continent of Valm yet, be my guest.
Lucina Value 201, Great Lord, one complete level up class under Chrom, and she is stronger. With Aether and Galeforce, she is the better lord.
Oh, and I just got Lucina. Haven't even gone to Ch.14, the chapter right after you recruit her. :3

@Tri Actually, thats what I do, send insanely powerful unit into middle of fray. Next Turn, move on to next turn, as every enemy in the surrounding spaces decided to do a Suicide charge.
Repeat.

i wish I could do that still. Too many enemies with counter for that to work always. I use several over powered units now >:3

Aurum Bow.... nope, I likely never saw it. I have Aurum Orbitars though.
