What's your thoughts on VD-Dev's ambitious 3DS game.

So is Ironfall gooing to be basically The Conduit of the 3DS.

The Condiut had a slightly larger team, but basically it was a small developer pushing the limits of the console and filling a empty niche of Action shooter in the software lineup. It looked really good, was fairly decent, but didn't live up to the high expectations placed on it due to the lack of a shooter coupled with how pretty it looked.

My hope is that they can deliver a great solid shooter. Due to school I mostly play on the go now so I would love a great shooter on the 3DS to keep me entertained. I just find it hard to believe the game will be able to run as smoothly as they make it out to be, and if there's onlne play I'm even more skeptical.

Why is every game falling this year?

The fact that Titanfall and Towerfall have similar titles is amusing to me.

I'm not sure why that's a thing beyond "it sounds cool". This has my attention, though I admit nowadays shooters don't feel like any priority to me.

They are doing it from the ground up. It is possible (e.g A Link Between Worlds worked properly). Nintendo's recycled Wii tech (Which is basically almost everything else they have done) is nowhere near as good.

I'm surprised no one is talking about this. From what was shown it looks to be a very good 3ds fps. Much better then I was thinking the 3ds might look like with this style of game. Really impressed and most likely a day one buy!

It got overshadowed by the much bigger releases news. Hopefully the developers can release around a time of no Major releases. Its a day one purchase for me just to support talented indie developers.

I can't wait for this. Nice break from jrpgs and platformers.

It looks way more interesting than I expected. So long as it's kinda meaty (I mean at least as much as I could expect from the first N.O.V.A. on mobile platforms, which is, like, 5 or 6 varied levels and a halfway competant story to give you reasons to shoot things, and possibly a simple multiplayer mode), I'd be more than happy to play it.

I was reading the GAF hype thread before the direct and someone jokingly mentioned Halo for 3DS, which got a sensible chuckle out of me. Then I see the first few images of this and for a split second, I actually thought it was happening.

Looks alright, anyway. 3DS is missing games like this, not that it'll do much to attract the FPS crowd anyway. Killzone sure didn't do the Vita any favours, despite being (I'm told) a great game.

I personally think it looks more like Gears then Halo. If the 60fps holds up well online then this could be a nice go to game for me. Its been a long while since I played a fps online. When I get hooked I play daily for months as well. Here's hoping!

Looks very nice, I'm not expecting anything mind blowing, but I'll pick this one up for sure, god knows the 3DS could use a half way decent action title.

I'm excited for this actually. When's the release? And does anyone know the expected price?

I bet someone's made a flashing simulator somewhere called Trouserfall.

The release date couldn't be a worse dat tbh. February 13th. I hope it doesn't get too overshadowed. No price announcement as of yet but I'm guessing because of the quality of the game between 15$-20$ US.

Lol the same day I get a new console along with Monster Hunter 4 and Majora's Mask.

Fairly good game. I'm certainly pleased it exists. The C-stick is a bit unreliable for close quarter and split-second movements though. Far better for camera control.
