Checking up from David of Nintendo3DSBlog, it turns out IGN has been pumping out some malarkey as of late, and now, we're all back to where we were.

Turns out IGN retracted the statements made after telling us of them in the 3DS launch guide.

Any "I told you so's" below?

IGN actually managed to ruin my day...
My day started getting good when they said the virtual console will be out at launch too. No super Mario land till May.... I may cry. (no pun intended.)

IGN got my hopes up about being able to get VC launch day and now its not. Oh well, can't be mad at them because everyone makes errors sometimes, but this was kinda a big one for some.

I'm not too dissapointed since I was expecting this but it would've been good if it was true.

For my "I told you so", I point out my response, number 46, to the article about this at the home page right after the news that it would be out Day One broke. My memory's fuzzy, but I seem to remember saying something about retractions... Wish I'd been dead wrong, though. I hate being a cynic that's right about negative things. Takes the fun out of being right.

I'm more annoyed that they retracted the thing about Pokemans Black/White having 3DS exclusive features. I mean, virtual console is going to come out later so that doesn't really make much of a difference... but Pokemans? that s**t's permanent

edit- self censorship for all those people who think s**t is somehow magically less offensive in said form
