Hi everybody,
Could someone tell me how to play the whole track in Korg DS12 ? Whenever I press "Play" button, only a sequence is played !
I read nothing about that in the help.
Thanks for your help

I assume you're trying to check out one of the demo tracks. It took me a bit to figure out, but here's what you do:

1) Press the "PTN" Tab at the top.
2) Then press the PTNPRG tab and you'll find the piano roll. You can now press play to play the song in its entirety.

Notice on this page tabs A through D. As the song progresses, the little light signifying the track progress will go over each step, and you can scroll the page with the analogue stick. As the song progresses, you'll notice the song switches between those tabs marked A through D (note the demo song "Disco" doesn't use the bank D).

This detail is integral to understanding how the program works. Basically the screen you're greeted with when you open the demo is the 16 "pattern" that make up Bank A (you can switch through them at the bottom). When I say pattern, this is demonstrated when you press the "PTN" tab on the opening page. You'll see those 16 "patterns" represented as seperate "Pads"that when touched, play each pattern seperately.

Then, when you go to PTNPRG (Pattern program), you'll be able to plot each of the 16 patterns for however many banks you've utilised - in the case of Disco, there are 43 unique patterns that can be manipulated and combined with other channels (TR1 through TR12) in many ways.

That much I can decipher, but I haven't yet figured out how to create my own synth sounds yet. But you are able to import some stock ones to get you started. To do this (it's easier if you start a new project), , on the main project page, click a cell, plot a few notes on the piano roll, then tap the "SYNTH" tab, followed by the "TONE" tab. Next, tap the [READ] option, pick one of the samples and confirm. To hear what it sounds like, press the play button at the top of the screen.

M01D is sample based, while DSN-12 is synth based. The latter is much more versatile in theory, provided you can get the sound you want.
