According to the nintendo eshop Grinsia will be 10 dollars. On tablets its just $7.99. (In the eshop type in Grinsia in the search box). This is way overpriced. Unless there is bonus material like dungeons etc.
There are supposed to be enhanced graphics and added features and content so of course it'll be more expensive, otherwise the developer would lose money on the title. That's just what happens when developers add new content and make improvements to a game that is being ported to a new system.
Your paying the Nintendo tax, that why indie games cost more on Nintendo consoles.
This money will help Nintendo fund for their new console called the Wii U Too
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Quite a lot of the time games which were originally on mobile are slightly more expensive on consoles. I see it as you are paying for a more quality experience that touch controls and the weaker power of tablets simply can't provide over a traditional console. Of course price hikes like the ones seen with the Angry Birds console ports are ludicrous, but a $2 increase is more than reasonable for a more complete experience.
The Apple Tax is 30%. Nobody knows what the Steam tax is (Rumors are it varies).
I prefer the tablet version given the choice and presuming it supports physical controls.
(I certainly prefer Christian Whitehead's version of Sonic 1 with a proper controller to the 3D Classic).
If anybody has an Android tablet there is no good reason not to get e.g a Nyko Playpad Pro.
I don't mind paying more for high quality stuff (Which in the end Nintendo probably gets the same because the retailer doesn't have to get a cut). But that is never a port. (I bought the game with the fishing line for £20 day one and Kokuga the same.)
I also usually get e.g Shi'en Stuff in the first week or other exclusives. Ports should be the same price across platforms though.
“30fps Is Not a Good Artistic Decision, It's a Failure”
Freedom of the press is for those who happen to own one.
Why don't some of you guy read the whole article before whining about overpricing..they say there's gonna be extra content in comparison to the 'droid version. You are paying to dollars extra for more content and the use of two screens! God! Some of you guys whine too much. Moreover, you've been spoiled and sullied by the cheap ass pricing that comes with paying for lower budget smartphone experiences. If it's on a console it's more than worth it. Besides,no one is forcing you to shop on the eshop you feel compelled to do so because you as well i know that there's more to offer in terms of quality on there. I can confidently say damn near every game on the eshop are some that most people really want and will have fun with but can any of you say the same about google play or ios? hmm? hmm? I think not otherwse they wouldn't all be so cheap! duh!

Those sound like sale prices, not standard prices. Maybe the eShop version could go on sale sometimes
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
@slidecage Nicalis have already announced that the game will be improved on 3DS. Also it's 8 bit, do you really need the extra resolution of mobiles? Plus button controls. Buttons are the input mechanisms of gods.
