Topic: Game download keeps stopping (error code 007-2913)

I'm trying to download Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D from the Club Nintendo code. I've tried several times now, but after about ten minutes of downloading on the eShop I get an error (007-2913) and have to return to the 3DS menu. The gift icon then appears for Donkey Kong, and tapping it shows the message "Downloading. Do not remove sd card. Close system to resume." And a percentage of how much the game has finished downloading. I close the 3DS as it says and leave it for a bit, but after a half an hour to an hour I check it, and it never goes up in percentage, so I assume it is not downloading and go to the eShop again to start the download over. I get the error message again after a few minutes and the eShop closes, and the perma-percentage gift icon appears again and budges not a single digit. I've restarted the download and went through this process four times now. Just what do I need to do to download this game? I understand that this game should take several hours to download, but mine is not downloading to begin with.

Edit: I tried the "download later" option and left the 3DS in sleep mode for a bit. After half an hour it's at 1%. That's...Painfully slow.
Edit edit: Over an hour after starting the download, it seems to not want to go above 1%. I think it's not downloading again. I give up. What could the problem be?

Edit edit edit: A visit to a place with a Nintendo Zone wifi connection yielded the same error code. Any advice is appreciated.

What's the error code? I keep having problems downloading resident evil revelation. My error code is 007-2913. What a waste of $10. I won't ever buy anything from the 3DS eshop ever again. All my downloads through the Wii u eshop have been great.

Yep, that's the same error I get. It says on Nintendo Support that it's to do with the router or wireless interference or something, but my 3DS gets internet just fine. It just doesn't want to download Donkey Kong for some reason. That Resident Evil game is also a huge file, like Donkey Kong Country, so maybe that's a part of the problem...

I went to a place with a Nintendo Zone, and I had the same problem there: Start download, error code, game stops downloading, rinse, repeat. I feel I've wasted too many hours trying to download this game. I wish I had just sold the code on Ebay.

Has no one figured out what the problem behind this error code might be?

Disable the router's firewall and attemp the download again*.
After the download is complete, re-enable the router's firewall.

You could also try copying all of your SD card's content to a PC, format the SD card und paste the files back onto it. _{That's what i'd probably do at least.}

Once you see the colored beads stop coming you need to do the following....
Download later
Go back in to re purchase game
Click re download
Start downloading again
Once beads stop coming star process over again
I noticed this issue start after one of the updates they did maybe a year ago.
They have an issue to address, it can take me 45 minutes to download a game
In the age of one click purchase and delivery of content, the big N seems to be missing the boat again, it is something about the content coming over, doubt it is the router. They remind me all the time that jeez, I don't have this issue with my ipad, and the games are a lot better an cheaper. On that platform, maybe minus a Mario game.

I went to someone's house with a better router/connection and got the game downloaded without a problem in one try. I think my router is just not that good.
Also, this thread is kinda old. Isn't there a rule against resurrecting old threads? (Or was that a different forum?)
