Topic: Fusion mode in Metroid 3ds

Is it possible to turn your savefile on fusionmode back to normal mode if it's too hard?

I don’t think so, does this mean you have the amiino metroid? The game has 3 save files, and iirc, fusion mode is only unlocked after finishing the game... not really sure about this but my point is there maybe no point in changing the difficulty midway through the game... you might as well just want to create a new save file for normal difficulty.
