Topic: Fire Emblem Kakusei (Awakening)

I kinda don't want to go back to Sacred Stones. Mainly for the permadeath thing. Seriously, I'm thankful for Newcomer (Casual) mode. I was doing a Risen challenge and 'lost' four of my allies, one of which my MU was starting to have chemistry with.

Are any of the DLC maps available yet? Whenever I try to purchase maps, I just get booted out...

As somebody said previously, there was more interesting Magic classes in SS as well.

I think the first one is out (and free). I've bought and downloaded the Champions of Lore pack, but it just says the map hasn't been released for 2 and 3. Its pretty stupid. The maps are finished, and as far as I can tell on my 3DS, and I have paid for them, but I can't play them until they are officially released... Just Nintendo being behind with online gaming again I guess...

They're doing that to prolong the amount of time people spend playing, and give it some replay value. The same principle applies with the Spotpass chapters. That, and they're more likely to get more money if they space releases.

I can't even access the list of maps. I mean, I get the notice telling me to use touch controls for those menus, then I click OK, then for a quick second I see 'Loading map line-up' and then I'm kicked out into Anna again.

@Happy_Mask That's just stupid. By the point the next two maps are going to be released (and the majority of the other maps), my team is going to be way too powerful for me to really enjoy them. I love the game and all, but at the rate they are going at I will most likely be done with the game by the point the high-level maps are released. I would be ok with them releasing a bundle of three maps every three weeks at the latest, but only having one map every week just ruins the point of it in my opinion.

@LuigiMan200 Can you tell us what she says, or is it just a random error code?

^ it varies from 1-2. And Anna just says something like "Sorry, this map isn't available yet. Please try again later" or something. And the Spotpass chapters are much more challenging than the main game, one of them will hinder you since your units are so strong. :3

I just started plating on my new Fire Emblem Xl system andf must say on hard it's quite a challenge. Hope it won't end like the DS version where I ended first time at the last battle to find out my units were not strong enough.

EDIT: Never mind, I got access now. I guess there was just nothing available; but now there's stuff to choose from. Thursday updates, I suppose.

Isn't Priam supposed to come out today?

I think so. -crosses fingers- I've been training an army for this guy! He has 50 guys on normal from what I've seen -gulp-

Is this the much awaited Bonds DLC?

It should be harvest of bonds today, Priam should be today as well, unless they changed that. Can't wait for Priam!

In Japan Harvest of Bonds got a discount (Normally $2, but on sale for $1) for awhile after it came out. Hope they do the same thing here.

Well the Priam chapter was fun, but pretty easy. Luckily you get Ragnell which boosts defense by 5. I gave it to Owain who (due to Donnel being the father) has 51 luck and Armsthrift.

The bonds maps are renamed scramble. Gimme my beach scramble already!

The Priam chapter allows me too many units. Time to grind!
