@Iggly: But what about Camilla? She immediately starts her class as heart seal class as sorcerer as soon as she is Malig Knight. So how to get Sorcerer skills if she can't get Dark Mage base class?
And somebody tell me just why is it that Keaton needs to increase his skill stats just by being a mercenary?
According to one guide in gamefaqs, Keaton seriously lacks in Skill stats.....which I don't understand why that's a problem since luck is the one that give critical hit chances.

She started as a Wyvern Knight, which also goes to Malig Knight. Most advanced classes have two base classes that go up to them. It depends on the character's available classes.

No no, what they are saying is if Keaton was never a Mercenary, he gets those skills first, THEN he gets Sol. So basically you will have to level him up three times to get the skills. He should get Good Fortune, then Strong Riposte, and then Sol. If he already has one of those skills, then it should just skip to the next one.

His growth rate is 25% at base, so it's okay, but not really terrible. Skill stat is the one that activates most skills though. Luck activates crits and other skills.

Promotions are sounding a lot like Sacred Stones. So you had situations like:
Cavalier -> Paladin or Great Knight
Mercenary -> Swordmaster or Hero
Fighter -> Warrior or Hero
Mage -> Sage or Mage Knight
Archer -> Sniper or Ranger
Thief -> Rogue or Assassin
Pegasus Knight -> Falcoknight or Wyvern Knight
Wyvern Rider -> Wyvern Lord or Wyvern Knight
It's a close list @GrumbleVolcano, but now the issue is that Fates (especially Birthright) redid many of the classes. Heck some are renamed in Hoshido like Swordmaster -> Samurai

@Grumblevolcano: I looked at the coming soon list and it's empty so I'd expect it to appear soon!

@Miss_Dark:
For the most part the support conversations are pretty good, especially the ones including all the royals. Then there are some which feel forced or aren't interesting. But the supports overall are fun to unlock.
I'm only planning on getting a few of the DLC's, but I have a few questions for those that have beaten Birthright/Revelation and or have the Ghostly Gold and Museum Melee.
If if you are promoted and level 20 or higher, (and use eternal seals) how much exp do you receive from the highest levelled enemies in the challenges?
How much gold can you get each time in Ghostly Gold?
What weapons can you get from Museum Melee and can they be sold for gold?
@Grumblevolcano: Thanks for letting me know! I can now take a sigh of relief, and it's only so long till the official UK store opens their ones!

@Grumblevolcano: For some reason I really feel like Nintendo is trying to release pre-orders as late as possible haha

@Kazuo: IIRC the faceless always give good XP regardless of what level you are, and besides, I think that the faceless class can reach lvl 40.
Also museum melee is meh. It's only useful if you want to try your luck to get other weapons like brave and some more rare ones like an army knife, etc. to use for forging them. And yes, you can sell them, but I believe that ghostly gold grinding gives you plenty of money anyways.

For anyone in the UK, the special edition is now, finally available to pre-order. Amazon should follow shortly, but as it stands, it's currently yet to be stocked.
I'll certainly preorder it, but I'm going to keep an eye on the news to see what happens with the Euro localisation. The bikinis and model touching, I can live without, but my biggest concern is what they did to the script, and particularly, with Effie. She was adorable in the Japanese original version, and the American localisation turned her into a meathead.
I'm really conflicted on what I should do - I want to play the game as it was originally intended, and I don't want to spend too much money getting multiple copies, let alone a spare 3DS to mod in the fan translation patch, but I NEED to get the special edition before it sells out because I'm not going to put up with buying the three different SKUs.
I've been anticipating this game for a very long time. I'll do what ever must be done (legally - although I'm sure Nintendo would argue modding a 3DS is illegal, it isn't - yet...) in order to play this game.
Hmm...I wanted the all-in-one version as I had assumed it was cheaper bit I'm not sure if the special edition would be cheaper tho. If it's £69.99 and one version is £34.99 and it follows the US way of doing it with the 2nd being half price (£17.49) and the dlc being £17.49 (as it was priced the same as the 2nd bought version) it'll be £69.97 but I know I will be able to get it the physical one cheaper as I'm already seeing it for £29.99.
I went ahead and pre-ordered the special edition over at GAME, they haven't been the most reliable recently but they haven't let me down too much yet. In order to enjoy the full experience; I pretty much need the three games on one cart since my 3DS SD card won't have enough space for the other two stories as DLC. Plus there's the extra stuff like the artbook as bonuses so that's nice.
Here's hoping all goes well. I'll still keep a close eye out for special edition offers in case Amazon offers a better price if they get restocks in.
