On another note Capcom have seriously mastered how to get the best out of the 3DS
Resident evil revelations
Monster Hunter
and SSFIV are all superb and they need to add this game to its library

Isn't this already confirmed to be a Japan only title?

I wonder how well this would sell in the west. It looks pretty high quality, but at the same time, it is pretty Japanese. Still, I'd love to see it come over. I would help Capcom in their fanbase department, at least.

Yeah, they announced it as JPN only, but I'd love to see it come to the States (and EU too, of course).

They never announced it was Japan only. I know everyone and their mother reported it that way, but that's journalism for ya. What they said was that "there are currently no plans to bring it to the west". That means they haven't decided yet. Nothing more.

Demo just came out on the Japanese e-shop. I haven't tried it out up yet, but when I do I'll let you know what I think.

Eh, it looks very niche to me. I dunno how popular Lost Planet is in the west...if it's very popular, then perhaps there is a chance. Maybe they could make it an eShop title.

here's the reason it's frustrating though. Lost Planet is popular in the west. Or at least is supposed to be. Because the main reason it exists, was for Capcom to make something most western friendly that would sell well here. So it's a japanese only (as of now) sidegame for a series that exists to be sold to western audiences.

I was watching a friend play it for a little while yesterday, it looks pretty good.
Hopefully it'll make its way over someday, but not holding my breath.
