Hi to everybody.
Mi doubt is the following: If I go to software and delete a game appearing there, will I lose the saved data from that game besides the game itselves. For example, I have been playing x game for months and now that game is using 12000 blocks, if I erase that game all that progress will be lost?

I hope you undertsood me
Thanks

Yes, you will lose all save data if you delete a game, unless you first create a Save Data Backup.

To create a save data backup, first select a game on the Home Screen, then press the triangle on the bottom left of the screen (to the left of "Manual" and "Open"), then press "Save Data Backup". Follow the prompts and create the save data backup. Once you've created the save backup, it should be safe to delete the game.

You can restore your Save Data Backup by going into Settings, then Data Management, Nintendo 3DS, Save Data Backup, Restore, then select your save profile to restore.

This will work on most games, but a few games don't allow Save Data Backup. If there isn't a triangle on the bottom left of the screen, then that game won't let you backup your save data.

I highly suggest investing in a larger SD or MicroSD(depending on your system) and never deleting your games. It wont happen anytime soon, but eventually Nintendo will end online support for 3DS like they did Wii and DSi and are going to do for Wii U. 3DS games aren't that big overall, get a 32 or 64GB card and you should be set for life unless you have a pretty massive digital collection.
