So, I think it's kinda cool that the PC's on your team come from literature! Here is who we know will be in the game
Henry Fleming - Red Badge of Courage
Cowardly Lion - Wizard of Oz
Tiger Lily - Peter Pan
Tom Sawyer - Adventures of Tom Sawyer
John Henry - American folk tale
Of course, there are Marth, Ike, Robin, and Lucina, but this is more about the original characters. Who do you guys guess will be in the game? Sherlock Holmes would be cool, Jonathon or Mina Harker from Dracula, Don Quixote, Sam Spade, Tarzan? I mean, it's going to be really cool to see who they pick. I hope the game does well, because I dig the League of Extraordinary Gentleman vibe going on in this game (among other things).
And also drawing from folk tales, you could have Paul Bunyan, Bigfoot Wallace, Casey Jones, Davey Crockett, Johnny Appleseed, etc. Maybe we could even have some American Indian legends thrown in, as well!
There are also two other characters seen but that there is little information about.
A girl with a sniper rifle called The Fox, and another guy with no name.
Who they are based on I don't know.
They're either American characters or written by Americans. Sherlock Holmes is neither one of these
We haven't seen all of the characters, and the game trailer shows it taking place in England, at least during one mission. They may all end up having American lineage, but I kinda doubt it.
And Tingle is a god awful character. If not the worst, bottom three, of Nintendo characters made (all time).
