How far did you get in CORE? There was a lot of slowdown in it. About equivalent to RUNNER I'd say.
Might be a dumb question but how big is your memory card. Zen pinball lag on me from time to time but since I upgraded to a 32gig its been fine ever since. No lag whatsoever. I haven't played this much yet but I can see how lag can pose a big problem.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

I wouldn't say that, I pretty much need a new memory card now since I downloaded bit trip, I only have like 211 blocks left and there was no lag every since.
Well everything's been running better on my system since my upgrade. Swap is faster and so is the rest of the stuff that runs off the card. I've also heard many others say the same thing.
After playing the Beat version of bit trip yesterday I can now say this game is nerve racking but in a good way. I learned when its time to go to bed NOT to play this game because after that I was WIDE awake lol. Wow I was on the edge of my seat!

Bought this because of the price drop, and have really enjoyed it. I'm late to the party, as I've never played any of these. I had a blast with the ones I tried out last night. The music keeps me playing, and I'm a child of the Atari-era so the visuals appeal to my sense of nostalgia. Definitely seems like it will be worth the $10.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
There are levels in Zone 3 of bit.trip Runner on SAGA that are super lag filled even with 3D turned off. If you haven't seen it, you haven't gotten to those levels then. A blind person can spot it.
The thing I hate is the weird sound issues in Bit.Trip Core where you can't even tell if you're hitting or missing the beats because the sound crackles or fails to register at all for your button presses for a period of time, especially on the last level, which was always my favourite. It really throws you off, and even if you turn the 3D off it doesn't resolve the problem. It seems so inferior to playing it on the Wii.
