Hi Guys - As an update to my earlier post, here is some more info I can pass along:
Fruits Have: Cherries, Lychees, Oranges, Perfect Oranges, Lemons, Pears, Durians, Bananas.
Dont Have: Coconuts, Peaches, Apples

Although I have raided out most of the trees recently, I have piles of fruit near the town plaza for folks when they come visit. .

This is an inherited town - I bought a used copy of the game and it already had a Mayor, so I just made a villager and am living there; don't really need to do any "mayor" stuff, and if I do, I just can switch over to that character.

Remember that there is 2 diffferent versions. The original and the welcome amiibo, just making sure.

@AKD6472 when i go to the friends page when online, I see you updated it to the "Welcome Amiibo version", Im wondering if you bought it on the e store or Physical version, as when you buy it Physical you have to update it while the game card is in. Or if you Bought it off the e store it updates automaticly im pretty sure. If this makes no sence It just says on the friend page that your play the original version not the welcome amiibo version.

@At12 Howdy -well that seems a mean thing for Nintendo to do (chuckle); I would think that if you have New Leaf and then it was updated to Welcome Amiibo, that the update should function the same as if you had the physical Amiibo cartridge, especially if they are at the same version (1.5); but I guess there is a difference. But to answer your question, I bought a used 3DSXL and it included New Leaf, and when I powered it on, it updated the game, so I was thinking it was compatible with everyone else.. lol
Well it's okay - I'll stumble along and find other folks who may be similar to me, and eventually I'll find someone who can either come visit me or vice versa and we can trade fruit...
More friends the better, right?
