Does anyone know when ill get asked for the police station? Ive had the museum Regen, Cafe, Dream Suite, Club LOL, but still havent been asked for the police station.

Is it just random and eventually ill get asked to build one?

It's random... I heard you need to talk a lot to the people and eventually they'll mention a Police Station. Or maybe it has something to do with finding Lost Items and returning them?

I thought nobody would want Resetti around since he yells at you and takes your bells when you reset and such. I certainly haven't been funding his abuse. Wouldn't funding him be paying for punishment? Does he do anything beneficial for you this time around?
