A question about Club Tortimer. Does anyone else only seem to find one other person on the island whenever you choose to go online? There's literally never more than one other person present for me

I get that too, and it just seems to be people farming. I stopped after a few times because each person kept pestering to visit my town, it is a bit creepy because they are young players and they ask me my age, i feel like i should not be talking to them!

I stray from paths frequently, however, I HATE when people (and myself) break the flowers. So when I do visit, I promise not to run in the flowers. ^.^
