Topic: 3DS XL Pink (Fuchsia). Dilemma.

I happen to like that color in general, generally not really a fan of traditional pink, I like more the fuchsia color which is a sort of vivid pinkish shade of red. So I wouldn't mind buying myself the 3DS XL Pink edition available in Europe (not to be mistaken by the American pink/white version)

One thing is stopping me, it does look or is generally deemed as a pure girly look, associated with only females.
Now generally, I don't let myself influence with that, but that vibrant pink does seem like one bridge too far.
Don't want to end up buying it with subconsciously not allow myself to play on it publicly

What do you think ? Any owners or people with similar situations or editions that have gone for it, not to look back?
Absurd what effect something simple as color can have, so what I just like fuchsia, I'm a secure hetero male and I never understood certain associations.

Color is like food, your personal tastes are your own, let no one tell you which sandwich you prefer either.

As someone from NJ , I am ready to fight about sandwiches over a moments notice especially when when involving the proper term for a grinder or sub(ITS A HOAGIE! ).

Its way higher on the list of arguments then color preference.

Combine it with pink hair streaks and striped black/pink clothes.

People will be too busy silently judging your clothing to notice the system.

...well I like My Little Pony, things don't get much less manly than that, lol. But I don't care what people may think. I like it! And if you like the fuchsia 3DS, go for it.

I heard that tough guys wear pink shirts. So is that what you worrying about? You don't want rumours going around that you are an tough guy eh?

In movies, some of the toughest beefcake characters wear pink tank tops. I know, stereotypes and all, but I'd dare anyone to walk up to them and call them less of a man.

Hehe, nah, thats not exactly it. Around here if a 38 year old male plays on a DS or 3DS people frown, but I shrug that off mostly, the vibrant pink is the proverbial icing on the cake of, the bridge to far I was talking about, which I have doubts if it will bother me or not. It's ok to like pink. I'm not entirely sure what my favorite color is, honestly... I want to say red, blue, or green, but I know I've thought other colors were better, at one point or another.

if it had a Kirby drawing I'd even get it, otherwise it's just pink and pink < a handful of other colors < aqua blue

i really like the colour pink, too. especially in combination with black. sooooo sexy! i would like to get clothes like that but it is hard to find things that are not made for women. some parts of my body just get squeezed when i wear women-pants for example. ouch!

Pbft, skirts were made for men anyway, we just look better in them.

If that's the color of 3DS you like the most, then go for it, I say. Pink isn't actually any more girly than other colors.

It's funny. Supposedly in older times pink was considered a boy color due to it being a shade of red. Baby Blue in the other hand was considered a girl color.
