I now have $2 and want Bird Mania Christmas, Gunman Clive(have it on my ipad not sure if I want to buy it again), or Super Little Acorns. Which should I get or is there another good $2 EShop game? Thanks in advance.

I LOVE TIM TEBOW

I have bought Super Little Acorns on sale for about 1€ and it's a fun little game, a tad on the generic side but I can't imagine Bird Mania Christmas being much better in that regard. It has about 3-4 hours worth of content + the Turbo Mode which is exactly the same game and challenges with added speed. In my opinio it's worth the sale price, with that said I don't own any of the other two.

I wish bubble bobble and simons quest would be released in NOA. They are already available in Japan.

I recommend buying Super Little Acorns while it is on sale. It has more content than Gunman Clive, though GC is also a good game.

Is Rvenge of the Gator worth getting if I already have Kirby's Pinball Land?

From that list I highly recommend Rhythm Thief or Kokuga. Nano Assault was fun but not the kind of shooter I was hoping for, Tetris Axis is good too but I honestly think the other ones I just mentioned are better. With that said I haven't played them all, I still need Harmoknight.

Anywho, moving on on my end. Sooooooo who's played Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove 3D? Is it worth the new price tag? Cheerio.

I'm mostly through Rhythm Thief right now. Gotta say the game's good overall (great music, likable characters, interesting story, lovely animation sequences) but man can some of these challenges make me want to impulsively throw my beautiful 3DS against walls. The soccer and gyroscope ones in particular are pure evil.

@OrangeCluster I recall reading some reviews on Gabrielle and I think one of the main complaints is the length isn't worth the price tag. It appears to be a decent game (and the premise is actually kind of awesome) but I'd personally wait to find it on discounted or in the bargain bin.

@PrincessSugoi Thanks for the help. I would prefer to own a physical copy to be fair but since I live in Europe and the game was never published around here (except through eShop) I can't really do that. With that said I recently upgraded to a 3DS XL, the golden Zelda one no less and I thought it would be fitting to get the Oracle games since they're the only Zelda games that I don't own. So yeah I just blew my money on that, plus Mighty Switch Force! 1 and 2 and Bike Rider DX.

PrincessSugoi

@OrangeCluster I've never been much in Zelda mainly because I've never really played the games. I still got a little money to blow and trying to decide what to buy with it, would you consider Link's Awakening a good place in the series to start?

@PrincessSugoi It's a great Zelda game but It's also one of the earliest ones which means It's not exactly easy to figure out what you have to do and might be a bit frustrating to newcomers. With that said that was a problem back when the game released on the Game Boy but nowadays there's the internet.

@OrangeCluster Ahh I see. Thanks for the help.

@Miss_Dark The game is indeed great, one of the best (if not the best) Game Boy games ever made but having replayed it recently I honestly think it could be frustrating to new Zelda players. That's the only thing holding me back from recommending it to PrincessSugoi. =/

Hi guys! I need a little help choosing a megaman game.
I've never played the series before so could someone suggest which one is a 'must buy' since I only afford one more
VC game at the moment.

WashioYuji

OrangeCluster

@WashioYuji Mega Man 2 is my favourite but a lot of people love Mega Man 3, so any of those two are a safe bet. With that said now that I think about it Mega Man 3 is quite challenging when compared to MM2 so MAYBE you should pick 2?

OrangeCluster

WashioYuji

@OrangeCluster Thanks! Then I think I'll start with 2 since NES games are known to be normally hard, and move on to 3 if I like this.

Hehe, funny the discussion left off on Megaman now since I was just the comparing titles. I'm playing through Kirby's Adventure right now and it's inspired me to add a couple more "classics" to my collection. Megaman 2 it is (and then SMB3... whenever that comes).

Lol I remember playing it when I was a kid and I did get stuck in the game back then xD If it really is her first zelda game ever maybe ocarina of time would be better cause that's quite easy (though still expensive)

Noted.

After doing some more research on handheld Zelda titles, I'm actually pretty sure Minish Cap interests me the most... which happens to be one of the ambassador games currently being held hostage. Wonderful. I still have my DS lite though and since there doesn't seem to be a shortage of copies on ebay, I'll just go auction hunting once I get some extra cash.

Sooo I'm specifically itching for a tough, retro 2D sidescroller on the Wii U or 3DS eShop, non Metroidvania. Having a tough time deciding between the likes of old Castlevanias, Ghosts 'n Goblins, Shinobis, Ninja Gaidens... not too keen on Mega Man, sorry Any advice?

OrangeCluster

@stupidpupil Have you considered the Contra series? The Legend of the Mystical Ninja has recently been released on Wii U too and that's a pretty fun sidescroller. From the ones you mentioned above I recomend 3D Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master, it's a really good and challenging sidescroller with some flairs like 3D and a couple of small tweaks.
