I purchased a 2ds the other day (the price was too good to refuse!) so now my dsi is superseded. I'm enjoying the software which comes with it. My son has a 3ds which gives me access to some 3ds games. Just curious though about a couple of points.
With the dsi I enjoyed setting the photos so that they were on the top screen after the system had booted. Is that possible on 2ds?
Also the dsi seemed to have a lot of little colours and messages which could be changed in settings and an alarm function with (obviously!) a clock. Are these features present on 2ds at all?
As I say, I only got it the other day so haven't explored it fully yet but I would like to know if I've missed something.
Sadly, the 3DS/2DS lacks the subtle customization options that the DSi had, like displaying your favorite photos, changing the color of the menu and the alarm clock.
If you want to display your photos and have an alarm clock, I'd recommend you to download the DSiWare app named "Photo Clock" from the eShop. In the DSi it was kinda useless but it's worth it for the 3DS if you want these features.
