FWIW, Alison probably knows everything that's going to be in the Direct, as a PR person at the Treehouse. But since "PR Specialist" is her title at NoA, take it with a grain of salt.

It's not fake hype. She works with Nintendo directs, so obviously she's going to say "Hey guys check out the direct". It's really not that unusual. And people are gonna slam it regardless, because no matter what, not everyone is gonna be satisfied. It's the internet.
