Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2024 Reveals New Kakarot DLC, Out Next Month

I wish I could go. Now that Piccolo is relevant again. I just hope he doesn't get sidelined again like in Z moving forward.

I hated how he was treated in the Broly movie. Old Piccolo went up against Z Broly and didn't back down just because the power levels were different. Super's Piccolo? "I would help, but I just might get in the way..." Sigh.

Atleast Superhero for it's faults, redeemed him, and put him back on par with the Saiyans.

@Vexx234 I agree about liking Piccolo being relevant again but I didn't like how they did it. Piccolo and Tien Shin Han train almost as much as Goku and Vegeta and deserve power ups that don't rely on wishes. I also hope that he keeps being relevant, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

@roy130390 Im with you. I'm mixed on how it was obtained honestly. On one hand Im glad he's strong, on the other, im like "Wow. Who knew this entire time his power was locked behind a wish."

I want all the old characters to come back stronger than ever.

@IceClimbersMain I wouldn't hold my breath for it on Switch. If I remember right, PS4 and XB1 players also getting left behind.

I just want a sequel to Buu's Fury, with the graphics of Octopath Traveler 2

@roy130390 I mean, Piccolo (via Kami, who he fused with) CREATED the Dragon Balls, so I don't think it's an unearned powerup.

@gojiguy As I explained he trains as much as Goku and Vegeta so it's not a matter of being unearned. It just feels like an unnecessary shortcut for someone that is doing everything to earn it. In any case, my point is the opposite as he was the one deserving to get more power through his hard work instead of this.

Besides, considering how easy it is to win more power this way, it's really weird that he didn't do it during the Majin Buu Saga as they were desperate and Piccolo was trying everything against him. Not to mention that the Dragon Balls have been explained to have limits in the past (not being able to kill the saiyans invading) and while there was nothing said about power, it makes sense that they can't give you powers that surpass the power of their creator. Even unleashing potential doesn't make much sense for a Namekian warrior of the level of Piccolo who also has Nail and even Kami on him, who should be similar to Guru.

That game is still going? Wow.

@Classic603 Yes, Legacy of Goku 2 and Buu's Fury are two of the finest Dragon Ball games ever made.

Tien doesn't even need a WIN in super, just show us that his training has merit by being able to at least tango with a God level power for a bit.

His best moments are when he takes a stand against insane odds (vs cell, one armed tri beam, hell even blocking super buus blast)

@Arminillo Exactly! They don't need to create transformations and cheap ways to power up, just give them moments to shine and to show their training results.
