At the Limited Run Games showcase in June, the company announced it would be releasing a physical edition of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords on the Nintendo Switch this summer.
Now, in a new update, it's shared a first look at the premium and master physical editions - revealing six-week pre-orders will open later this month on 19th August. Here's a look at each one, along with what's included:
Standard Edition - $34.99 USD
Premium Edition - $89.99 USD
Master Edition - $174.99 USD
Will you be adding this physical release to your Switch library when it's eventually released? Leave a comment below.

Sweet. An unfinished game from 2005
@Mrd8202 Yours for only $175!
I think they overestimate how many Star Wars fans have to have this at that price.....
A dual release, at regular retail, for $40-50 would've been sensible. Instead, we get more overpriced LRG garbage.
Ooff I wish you could customize an order, the strategy guide actually looks nice but for that price… there’s no way.
Hopefully the restored content dlc is released soon… it’s about time. Also hopefully the dlc is on the cartridge.
Awesome, another physical release butchered by the crappy LRG. Pass.
I will be ordering that basic edition for sure
Pricey. Anyway, they ever get around to patching the NS port?
How bout shipped the first one first before taking pre-orders on this second one.
@Spoony_Tech i maybe you underestimate how many crazy collectors are out there!
I’ll just wait for the double pack from THQ.
I can’t think of a single good reason why digital isn’t the only way to go for this game…….unless of course you enjoy dropping $175 on pure tat!
Get it from Gog without DRM, get the Restored Content Patch that exists from Fans.
Definitely down for the standard version, I put so many hours into this and the first one as a kid
Isn't that the game with unfinished content or something like that? I don't know the details but I think there was something about that game?
It would be great if the news would have details about the state of the game and if updates or DLC is on the card.
"Physical editions of KOTOR II coming soon!"
Cool!
"From Limited Run Games!"
....oh.
What is this unfinished content about?
And what is wrong with Limited Run Games? I do not have any experience with them.
May I remind everyone what happened with the previous limited release of Star Wars games for Switch?
That's right, not long later some regular retail releases turned up with two games on one card.
@Jhena They are like Kickstarter for videogames. You preorder your game and will receive it 6-12 months later. Let's just say still I'm still waiting on the physical version for KotOR for Switch.
@riggah
I am sad to hear that. And you can not cancel the pre order and get your money back?
@Jhena Maybe, it's standard amount of time for Kickstarter and LRG.
@Mrd8202 Quoting for truth. No one should buy this.
@riggah
All right, I hope you will get the game. Thank you for telling me.
@Jhena You can't cancel. They take forever to ship. They increasingly publish big studios stuff over indie titles, a lot of their CE stuff is low quality and overpriced, and some of their releases still have DRM that requires the internet, like Scott Pilgrim. They're garbage.
@EVIL-C
Wow, that is a lot. Thank you for the warning. I will keep in mind to pass their releases.
@Jhena If you prefer buying cartridges over digital downloads, it's worth keeping in mind that sometimes LRG is responsible for distributing only certain regional versions, and that you can import the same title with English support from Asia or Europe.
Off the top of my head: River City Girls, Blaster Master Trilogy, Treasures of the Aegean.
@farrgazer
Good to know. Thank you. Yes I prefer cartridges.
