There's a rather large amount of Australian and New Zealand developers releasing games on the Switch eShop on a regular basis. To celebrate, all of the studios down under and across the ditch have joined together to offer Switch owners "twenty of the best" games from the region at great prices.
The sale covers a wide variety of genres and promises to offer a fair sum of these titles at their highest discount price to date. This sale is taking place in North America and Europe (not to forget Australia and New Zealand) and wraps up at the end of the month, on 30th June.
During this sale, you can also follow the hashtag #ANZNindieSale on Twitter to find out how to win a signed, limited edition print of the Chris Lewis Lee artwork commissioned for the sale (see above).

Everyone needs to get Assault Android Cactus+. That game is amazingly good in both it's quality and it's content. That game has so much to offer, and it's sad to see how everyone seemingly overlooked it. Now would be the best time to try it out if you haven't.
Id rather play Knack 17 on my Stadia 2600
Only one I'd even consider getting is Assault Android Cactus, and I'm pretty sure I already got that in a Humble Bundle years ago.
Picked up Poly Bridge (already have Death Squared).
Happy.
I'm most likely going to get City of Brass, Feather, and Mini Metro. I might get swayed by some of the others, but we'll see. My spending habits on games has been pretty irresponsible lately, haha.
Ouch, just spent money on Undertale and My Friend Pedro (two completely opposite games, one is like, nobody needs to die, the other is, kill everyone in the most awesome way) otherwise would definitely pick up Assault Android Cactus
Oooo Gardens Between?? Sorry wallet, time to take another hit for the team.
It feels good to support devs from developing nations like these. Especially if I can score a deal while doing so!
@kepsux “Developing nations”? Shade, shade. 😂
There is only so many twin stick shooters a man needs on the Switch, but I’ll get that Cactus game anyway.
Highly recommend The Gardens Between!
I should get Crawl just for the trailers alone.
I picked up the Framed Collection today for $5! It was always on my wish list as I think the look of there game is awesome but heard it's short and can be obtuse at times... I figure for $5 what's the worst that can happen?
@patbacknitro18 What goes on there brother ?, Sorry I've just not heard of it. Have u played "Super one more jump ?"
@cyrus_zuo I'm intrigued, What's it all about ?
@LegendOfPokemon Agree 100%
@Dayton311 How is it ?, It looked interesting....
For a decent 2 player co-op I can recommend "Super one more jump", it's the kinda game u can play with the girlfriend, people with short attention span types lol....
@NotTelevision Lol what about us poor folk in Africa ?, Under developed perhaps hahaha...
"all of the studios down under and across the ditch"
Well, not all of them, Giant Margarita is definitely missing.
@NotTelevision this fair shade
@shaneoh Yep we missed them!! doh. I put a public call out a few times but they didnt jump in. Will reach out direct next time
@kepsux not gonna lie, feeling a little offended haha I mean, Wifi was invented in Australia
I really liked Adventure Pals, it was a bit cartoony and silly (which I like), great little platformer.
Tempted by OTT TD but I already have Defense Grid 2... and I doubt it'll live up to that. Might be worth a shot though? Have any of you guys played it?
i like turtles 🐢
@Sim1 Nothing compared to Australia apparently. Did you know Mad Max was actually a documentary?
@NotTelevision Ok now u cracking me up, and Crocodile Dundee ?.
Maybe Adventure Pals only because i have it physically in my Super Rare Games collection and i don't want to open it.
Aussie indies but no Hollow Knight??? I mean, like many I’ve already got it, but in terms of flying the flat for Aussie developers surely there’s no better example of what we’re capable of down here.
Do like the look of Adventure Pals
@kepsux
Getting games on sale is the opposite of supporting them. If you get a game on sale and want to support them, then promote the game and buy their previous release full price, or their next game day one.
@Tibob But in these developing nations things are a lot cheaper so I deserve the sales.
@Tibob buying a game on sale is showing way more support than not buying it at all!
Or should I say: heaps more support. SA represent!
@kepsux Australia is indeed a developing nation. We keep getting better and better!
@cyrus_zuo I'm going to pick that up as well. having a think about Warlock on firetop mountain as well
Somehow Golf Story is missing
@Sim1 I just started it last night and after about an hour I am really enjoying it! $5 seems like a perfect price for this. I would recommend picking it up personally
You all talked me into getting Assault Android Cactus+, I checked out a few reviews and saw the trailer and being on sale just pushed me to buy it. It’s downloading now.
@DoomPlague Correct it's on special.
@Sim1 thanks. Good to have some games to fill up the spare minutes here and there
@Bloodmetal Good choice!
@DoomPlague Golf Story had their own sale organised
@SachmoJoe Hollow Knight and also Armello and Golf Story already had their own sales organised.
@Moon it's a different type of TD as it has moveable heroes you control. Which then adds an RPG element. I love Defence Grid too but that's a set towers only deal.
@shaneoh Yep we missed them. They will be there for V2 of this!
@SMGstudio I downloaded your game. It's great fun, thank you. Do you have any plans for more TD games in the future? Are there going to be any future patches?
@Moon thanks. Future patches yes. We're collecting any major and minor issues now. Future TD... not sure unless we can do something really interesting with it
@SMGstudio It's a great game. Have you considered seperating the sound effects (guns, explosions), from the voices? It'd be nice to turn the voices off while keeping the gun noises.
Also touch support? Seems strange that there isn't any, but it's a fun game regardless. Thanks for the reply.
@Moon touch we removed as we couldnt get the quality we needed.
Separate channels for voice and FX makes sense
