Join us for Spike TV's annual game awards, now called VGX, for a very Nintendo-centric take on proceedings. Reggie Fils-Aime will be introducing a Wii U premiere, and Nintendo may even win an award or two.

So, um, we'll try and find out when the winners get announced. The Awards Show was the wrong place to look. Silly us.
The show ends with the majority of awards unannounced. Brilliant.
More Titanfall, we do wonder where the awards are though...
And the GTA V music goes on and on and on and on and on and on
Do you all have your hands up? Well? DO YOU?
It's live GTA V music, time to top up on snacks.
Titanfall was a big deal at the Eurogamer Expo, loads of hype. Not my thing, but I'm weird like that.
And the winner is... Naughty Dog
Studio of the Year award now.
The Witcher 3 is getting a lot of buzz, so this will be a biggie for Sony/MS gamers.
Winner is............................................Bioshock Infinite
Award for best Shooter is up, erm...
It looks like it's time for the GTA V performance soon, great time to top up snacks?
There is clearly no script for this show.
Oh no, it's more YouTube stuff.
Zombies clearly make big bucks.
Just four people making that game, gosh.
It's all about exploration, as the trailer made VERY clear; included underwater, walking on a planet, flying into space etc.
No Man's Sky from Hello Games looks pretty cool.
Game of Thrones by Telltale Games, rumoured for a few days.
BIG GAME ANNOUNCEMENT...
And the winner is... Gone Home
Best Independent Game, always an interesting one.
Though the lighting wasn't "next-gen", admittedly.
I'm pretty sure day/night cycles have been a thing for a long time. Castlevania II: Simon's Quest springs to mind...
It's The Division, first shown by Ubisoft at E3 2013. Confirmed for PS4 and Xbox One so far.
So Broken Age looks rather nice, Elijah Wood to star.
Tom Schafer is in the house. Grim Fandango was indeed awesome.
"When you look at me you see muscle, that's what being champion is all about". No it isn't Lemay, don't be silly!
Vincent Lemay, not necessarily a stereotypical Donkey Kong competitor.
Intriguing, here's a 5 minutes film on competitive Donkey Kong arcade tournaments.
Destiny - though anticipate, this one is taking a long time to make it to market.
Man, Mega64 are LOUD
Game of the Year time, people!
Our news article on Reggie's appearance goes up in a few minutes, too.
It's South Park time...
And the winner is NBA2K14.
Best Sports Game is up.
Plenty of awards to come, some disappointment out on the web, we suspect. But DK is highly likely to be a terrific game.
Reggie says 3D World is doing "quite well" in this market. "It's not surprised us".
Reggie says keep voting in the Smash Bros. petition. Amusing stuff!
Various control options, GamePad, Pro Controller supported.
Keighley pushes Reggie for more, he straight bats him.
Cranky can to a "Cane bounce" across spike pits.
And the winner is... Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag. Really?
Best Action Adventure Game award time.
Tomb Raider new version for Xbox One and PS4 was leaked earlier, so this is that.
Tales From the Borderlands, intriguing.
Some risky jokes here. Won't somebody think of the children?
13 World Premiere videos, oh my.
We start with rubbish jokes, oh yes, here we go. Next-gen bingo, though also a fun mocking of Scientology. I give the intro 7/10.
Offices are boring everywhere, as Eidos is demonstrating with the backdrop of this interview. Just desks and monitors and mediocre coffee.
Full disclosure, I've never played a Thief game. So, um...
Reggie gets a pitch, huzzah!
FYI all, I will make comments on non-Nintendo stuff too, otherwise there'd be some long silences! Some have multiple consoles, after all...
I heard this will be three hours without commercials, or 3 hours 15 minutes with the pre-show. This is a serious test of the bladder, I'd say.

OK, so with an hour to go, what are our predictions for the Reggie reveal? MK8, Smash, DK or (whisper it) first new Zelda trailer?
I have the honour of live texting tonight. It'll be starting proper at 11pm my time, so think of me as the show reaches its end, those of you in North America. IT'LL BE 2AM FOR ME.
It's one hour until the "pre-show" and 75 minutes to the real thing. And it's certainly worth Nintendo fans watching -- Reggie's in town.
