While we may often beat the drum for the upcoming titles on the Wii U eShop, we shouldn't forget that the 3DS eShop has a strong record of serving up fun downloads. Spanish developer CoderChild has been in touch to confirm its next project is targeting release on the portable this year at a budget price, offering up simple but challenging platforming to try and tempt you out of eShop funds.
The title Cubit The Hardcore Platformer Robot certainly doesn't allow for much ambiguity, with the studio's David Márquez de la Cruz telling us it's "a funny super hardcore platform game", while emphasizing the importance of its music as "game action is somewhat synchronized with the tempo and pattern changes in the songs". It'll also feature game characters from other games developed in Spain, including Nec from EnjoyUp's Chronos Twins, and Dani from upcoming Wii U eShop release Unepic. Perhaps most intriguingly this platformer seems to be a runner where only one button is used, with a graphical style that doesn't look too far off titles such as Bike Rider DX.

runner? pass, runners are not platformers they are rhythm games, platformers shoud let you explore the levels at least to a certain extent
The art style irks me a bit...
I think i will pass...
"Punch Quest" is how I try and play those type of games anyway only difference is you don't have to hold the run button. (I like it better than bit trip runner).
