A magnetic arcade experience with plenty of attraction.
Whilst it seems that there is a surfeit of puzzle games on Nintendo's WiiWare service it has to be said that their overall quality goes a long way to making their numeracy forgivable. Magnetis is developer Yullaby's first offering on WiiWare and definitely deserves a place in the list of worthwhile puzzlers for the Wii. Falling block games..
About The Game
The goal of Magnetis is to connect magnets facing opposite directions together. When you do, they contract and everything in between disappears.
You get more point for longer lines, and even more points for chained reactions, so you're encouraged to plan your moves ahead. Up to 4 players can play in split screen. There are many game modes, like Normal, Time Attack, Block Attack, Battle, Cooperative, and players can even team up (for instance, if you have buddy who's really strong, you can play at 3 against 1). It might not seem like it at first, but there can be quite a bit of strategy involved in planning ahead for your combos.

Looks pretty nice might be worth a look
It looks... hard... I don't get it!
Puzzle games are a bit like that. You can't sometimes tell whats going on from screenshots. Need a revw. First impressions aren't brilliant but you never know....
this looks like an instand buy!
The EU Nintendo Channel says its out now (3 aug!!) , but it is not in the Shop Channel.
Mistake?
Any body get this one yet? Let us know how you like it. Thanks.
O.K. I Got it and have been playing it. I would say this is fun but hard to master at first.Fast moving puzzle game. worth 500 points.
