Review Pokémon Shuffle (3DS eShop)
Hoenn Hustle
Pokémon have been puzzling ever since the Johto days, when Pokémon Puzzle Challenge married the block-flipping gameplay of Panel de Pon with Game Freak's charming, collectable characters. It's a formula that's stuck, with Denpa Men developer Genius Sonority heading up the most recent series of Poké-puzzle combinations, including...

Gotta employ 'em all
Video game companies are always working towards the future. Hiring more employees and developing new games is all part of day-to-day business operations. The Pokémon Company is obviously no different. With this in mind, the Washington-based subsidiary of the company has recently posted a job listing on LinkedIn for a principal...
News Pokémon Shuffle Has Passed 6 Million Downloads on 3DS
Oh yeah, that other Pokémon game…
Long before Pokémon GO was everywhere, Pokémon Shuffle was released on Nintendo 3DS to a curious audience. Free to play games aren't too common on the dedicated portable, so it came as with a somewhat different flavor to your typical 3DS game. We thought the in-app purchases were a bit much, but found it to be...
News Pokémon Shuffle Adds Plenty of New Stages in Latest Update
Time to level up
Pokémon Shuffle appears to have been one of Nintendo's more successful free-to-play releases on the 3DS eShop. Not necessarily in terms of money made for Nintendo, that we don't know, but its simple but addictive tile matching has struck a chord with some eager players. The good news is that some brand new campaign stages have...
News Pokémon Shuffle Gets a Major Update and New Features
SpotPass! Survival Mode! Other Stuff!
Pokémon Shuffle is one of multiple 'mon free-to-start downloads on 3DS, and has also been released on mobile. A major update to version 1.3.0 for the 3DS iteration has now, seemingly, brought it into line with features that have previously rolled out on smart devices. First of all, if you're jumping into the...
Poll Nintendo's Free-to-Play Experiments - Are You Still Playing?
We may as well get used to it
Nintendo's played its pricing pretty straight with the Wii U eShop, outside of supporting occasional diversions in standard models from Indie developers, and also dabbling in free-to-start with Fatal Frame / Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water. On the 3DS eShop, however, the company's been more experimental - a...

News Save Data Hackers Top Competition Leaderboards in Pokémon Shuffle
Nintendo and Genius Sonority are slow to react
Pokémon Shuffle has been a target for hacks in the past, with the free-to-play download previously being targeted by those seeking to obtain in-game items without buying them. It's part of the 'game' that data hackers infiltrate titles, with Nintendo and other developers then regularly issuing updates...
News Pokémon Shuffle Rolls Out on iOS in North America and Europe
And so it's come to pass
The Pokémon Company has a steady history of iOS and Android releases, but it's not common for titles to be published by Nintendo on the 3DS eShop and to then rock up on smart devices. Pokémon Shuffle has always had the potential to change that, arriving on the 3DS eShop as a free-to-play title with plenty of optional...
News iOS and Android Receive Pokémon Shuffle Mobile in Japan
Shuffling onto a single screen
We've known for a long time that Nintendo has been developing apps for the gigantic smart device market, and Pokémon Shuffle felt very fitting for such a market when it was first launched on the 3DS. Now it's finally made its way onto touch screens all over Japan and marks the first Nintendo game on iOS and Android...
About The Game
Prepare for exciting puzzle action in Pokémon Shuffle, available to download from Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS and 2DS!
In Pokémon Shuffle, your goal is to clear various stages by lining up the same Pokémon and clearing these matches from the puzzle area. Within each puzzle stage, you can deal damage to the wild Pokémon you face by lining up three of the same Pokémon to clear them. Battle and try to catch the Pokémon before you run out of moves!
Each stage in Pokémon Shuffle provides you a limited number of opportunities in which to move your Pokémon around. There is no time limit, so you can take as long as you like to study the board. To clear each stage, you'll have to reduce the HP of the wild Pokémon you face to zero within a set number of moves. Use all the strategies and tactics available to you, and learn to read the board to spot future matches. Clearing Pokémon efficiently is the key to winning the many stages of Pokémon Shuffle!
Pokémon all have a type of their own, and each has its strengths and weaknesses. Choosing a group of Pokémon that is right for each level is important. You'll also be able to raise the level of your Pokémon by using them multiple times, enabling them to deal more damage to foes. Collect many different Pokémon and raise them up so that you will be able to make your way through your battles against wild Pokémon with finesse. Pokémon Shuffle also features Mega-Evolving Pokémon – when one of your Pokémon Mega Evolves, it can clear out a whole heap of Pokémon at once or cause other special effects!
Pokémon Shuffle is available from Nintendo eShop, and you can start playing for free. You start with five Hearts, and you use one up every time you battle. Run out, and you will need to wait before you can battle again. Over time, your Hearts will build up and you'll be able to play again. In Pokémon Shuffle, you can only play up to five battles in a row, but once some time has passed, this number will restore and you can play again. You can also keep playing by using items obtained through regular gameplay or purchased with Nintendo eShop funds. In addition, there are also various other items which can come in handy during battle, and which can also be available through regular gameplay or through in-game purchases, allowing players with different play styles to enjoy Pokémon Shuffle.
Pokémon Shuffle is available to download from Nintendo eShop, only on Nintendo 3DS family systems!
- Battle wild Pokémon by matching three or more of the same type in exciting puzzles!
- Reduce the wild Pokémon's HP to zero within a set number of moves
- Collect and raise your own Pokémon to increase their power, and maybe even Mega Evolve!

@PsChecha This was an amazing game. Still is. Unoftrunately, the servers shut down, so you can't do check ins anymore.
@PsChecha No, no, it's playable. You see, it had this feature where everyday, if you connected it to the intrenet it would give you a little reward each day. But since the servers got discontinued for that, that feature doesn't work. But the main game works completely fine. I still play it all the time.
@PsChecha Have fun, it's quite a good game. I don't play any other games in the Pokemon series cause I'm hecking broke, but this is a free game, and I needed more games for my 3ds so I decided "Why not?" and I do not regret
