Anyone bought this game and want to share some first impressions with us. I'm really interested in this game, but the trailer made me dizzy so now I'm in doubt.

This title appears a little too lifeless and drab for my taste. I'll wait for Rush Rally Racing to be released. (<:

I just read the operations manual, but the controls sounds terrible. 2 is for acceleration and 1 for braking, but steering is only possible with < and > on the d-pad. I can't believe they wouldn't just let you hold the controller NES style instead of this which sounds really awkward. If this is true (let's hope it's a mistake in the manual), it's a no buy for me. Anyone can confirm it (or better deny it).

I doubt it's that way. It would not make any sense.
@Sneaker: Nintendan1 has a video of the gameplay. Though I think he skips to the win screen without showing the win (That's the coclusion that I came up with, as I never saw a finish line when each race was over. Also I don't think he liked it very much, but I'd still like to here from others. I wonder who's reviewing this one? This game also came out as a "playstation mini" game recently. I couldn't find reviews or impressions on that version.

Ugh. Never mind this game. Looks bad and the turning really makes me dizzy. I think the race ends when all the other players are knocked out.

IGN gave it a 3/10

Controls are NES style. The game is a bit average. I'm winning easily at the moment, so I doubt I've done a full lap on the 14 or so races I've done. Also fully upgraded one car in this time. Once (or should I say IF) the AI ramps up it should improve.

Glad it's just wrong in the manual. But I didn't like the gameplay segments of NintendoDaan1 so probably won't be getting this.

@Sneaker13 actually the game is alot better than I thought I was at a friends house yesterday and he was playing this and all I can say is that trailer did this game no justice still I'd only give this game a 6-6.5 but it certainly isn't bad imo

I think this is a PSN mini as well.

Glad it's just wrong in the manual.
It's not wrong. For NES style controls, the orientation for D-Pad controls changes accordingly in every game manual I've read that has that kind of control scheme.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Check the manual yourself, it's pretty unclear.
