Topic: Updating NES & SNES Games on Wii U VC?

It seems GBA VC on Wii U has gotten a bit of special treatment. Would anyone like it if NES / SNES games got the same treatment? Scans of the original manuals, screen smoothing and resolution options.

I would like it if they updated the NES / SNES games that are already on the Wii U VC and included it in future NES / SNES / N64 releases. Nintendo should just hire M2 full time and do all their VC work, as M2 seems to do a better job at it than Nintendo.

No, I'd rather concentration on new games

DudeSean

@justlink Well, then, let's not bother with any future VC releases, ports or remakes ever again, huh?

I wouldn't mind those upgrades but am not expecting them at all.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

i browse... in all forum topics. I just spread my wisdom. But don't get me wrong on VC, remakes, and ports, but Nintendo right now needs new games to sell systems. They should give Grezzo the remakes to do (Majora's Mask, etc), and M2 for VC and give them free reign to incorporate up to date improvements.

@DefHalan I wouldn't say I'm expecting them, either. I've learned that when it comes to Nintendo not get hopes too high, especially with the virtual console services. However, Nintendo can be surprising sometimes.

@justlink "I just spread my wisdom." That's awfully arrogant. You and I both know the better choice of word is "opinion." And, you're not even making any sense. First you say you don't want them to spend any time on older games, and then you say you want another remake and then agree with me that M2 should continue working on the VC. Although, I don't know about "free reign." I would be all for incorporating all of the features from the original as possible, and maybe fudge it a little bit in some areas. Like, say, for the gameboy camera, instead of printing pictures it could just save it to the SD card; or multiplayer in GBA games which needs to happen if Double Dragon Advance gets a release. Well, it doesn't "need" to happen, but it would make the game a lot more worth it. Also, I wouldn't be against adding online or fixing really bad glitches (not being able to recover the fighter in galaga after being captured).

@DudeSean You take things to seriously. When I said I don't want any time taken for VC, I mean Nintendo taking the time, not everyone. Free reign i ment M2 adding online multiplayer for games that required gameboy connecter, and miiverse stuff.
Edit:
Most of my wii u is made up of VC. Of course i want VC because im 15 and didn't start playing nintendo since 2011

Sorry. This is the internet. All I have to go off of are your words. There is no tone to decipher your underlying meaning.

Yeah, doubt it'll happen...but I do hope they'll at least give the smoothing feature to SNES games.

Disagreeing with you, which is acceptable

As for me, I wouldn't really care either way.

Nintendo is lazy and hates money. Sega already did a better job with 3D Classics and GameGear games in 3DS VC.

I believe M2 did those, actually, and Nintendo now has M2 doing their emulation for the Wii U, so...

Also, it's not that Nintendo hates money, but just that they have so much money that they don't really need it. Which is kind of a bad thing for the consumer because if they did need money then they would give us more ways to give them money.
