I don't even own a GameCube or Wii. I have a Wii U so atleast I could play RD. Those games are so long I don't have time to play them, I still haven't finished Awakening lol. I have thought about selling them. $150 extra bucks could be useful...

Hmmm. I'd sell Awakening if I were you, that game royally pales in comparison to PoR/RD, and due to its low availability as of recent it can be sold for a good price as well. Awakening is far too streamlined, at least for my tastes. It gets all the bells and whistles (art style/music/voice acting) right, but the core gameplay fails to hold up. If you ever start RD, which you should, you will probably know what I'm talking about when I say that that game and PoR are the superior games. Selling those two games might not be the best decision...although if you buy a Wii and hack it with the proper materials you could get those games for free. Tough decision, man!

I really enjoy Awakening. I actually might re-buy it as digital if it goes on sale and sell my physical version. I don't want to sell my PoR or RD but I may not ever get to play them until they become VC titles lol. (which I know could be decades before that happens) and I don't want them to lose their value from that happening. I was actually thinking of selling all my GameCube games... but that is a conversation for another time

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Well, it's your decision, and a tough one at that. But I think it's a good idea to play the games you own before you consider selling them. Let's just cross our fingers that GCN VC is coming soon.

Yea, I hear GameCubes are $20 now and that is tempting lol

To each their own, but you can get a Gamecube for cheap if you want it, which is totally worth it for games like Paper Mario TTYD, Baten Kaitos Origins, and Fire Emblem PoR.

Like I said though, it all really depends of preference. Personally, as much as I like FE:A, the waifu breeding doesn't make up for the superior pacing and tactical map setups in PoR. And I don't know why, but most of my games on Gamecube feel like they've aged better than my PS2 games so I could never sell it. I'd never sell my PS2 either though because then I couldn't play Breath of Fire V (Haters gonna hate) or Xenosaga III. Persona 3 aged well too...but I'm not gonna do that 100+ hour slog again T_T. Persona 4 is overrated...(haters gonna hate x2)...sorry I had to get that in, I promise I won't bash Kingdom Hearts though, I promise!

They really need to re-release PoR/RD or at least put them on the eShop. I think a lot of people missed out on them, and it's a shame because those two were the best Fire Emblem games I've ever played. They were truly hidden gems that would've gotten more attention in the U.S. had the franchise been more popular there at the time.

and here I am sitting next to a copy of both, not playing them...

I envy you lol I've had so much trouble trying to find a copy of Radiant Dawn. The prices for those games are insane, but on the bright side I got myself FE: Awakening and Valkyria Chronicles.

Does anyone else believe that this game will release in North America just in time for the Zelda/Fire Emblem Super Smashing Sale that starts tomorrow? They did it for Europe so it wouldn't surprise me if NoA does the same thing! What do you guys and gals think though? Do you think that it's a possibility?
