I'm wanting to transfer my Mii characters and game saves from my Wii to my new (to me) Wii U.
The first step seems to be downloading the Wii Transfer Tool.
Unfortunately, the Wii will not connect to my Wifi. I keep getting the error code 51330. I've entered and checked the password multiple times, made sure the security settings are correct, and rebooted the router. Any other ideas on how to get this done?
Your first anything is important; a memory you don't want to forget. That's what makes nostalgia such a fascinating concept. That's why many people enjoy games that have aged well.
@Luigi05 Judging by the end of this thread you gave me, the transfer tool might still be available. To test this out I need to get the Wifi working. Hmm. Ever have the error code 51330? I've tried everything I can think of.
@Dougaloo Nope. Can't say I've ever come across it. Sorry, I'm stumped on what to do on this.

Solved it! The Wii couldnt handle our advanced router so I used my phone as a hotspot. Set it to 2.4ghz and no security settings. I also had to do this for the emulated Wii on the Wii U.
Everything transferred over fine after that. Very cool animation video too!
