Topic: Tekken for wii?

Some guy on the Gamespot.com forums made a petition to get Tekken on wii.

I don't really care for Tekken but I think it would be a good thing to see more fighting games on the wii. Here is the link to the petition if you want to sign.

Hmm... As much as I would support more fighting games for the Wii. There hasn't been a fighting game that supports Wii Motion controls properly, I mean come on, you got a Wii for it's controls, I would've loved it if PunchOut had better Motion controls, but I result in playing with the classic NES set up. I would love to see an all new Fighting game to Appear on the Wii that takes full motion control, and since we now have Motion plus, why isn't there?

Then again Namco did make a port of Tekken on the GBA, so there's a possibility, I doubt it would look anything like Tekken 6 or whatever the next game is called, but there could be a chance due to the system's popularity.

Yes to an awesome Soulcalibur Wii game (not the cruddy one that is already out for Wii)

Since Team Ninja has got this partnership going with Nintendo at the moment, I would love to see a DOA game made for Wii. Problem is though I think Tecmo has rights over DOA, even though it was developed by Team Ninja. A new Soul Calibur game with Wii Motion plus would be awesome, but to be honest I've seen too much Soul Calibur recently, plus it's coming out on PSP as well, it's starting to get stale.

Then again... Capcom has said that a Wii version of SFIV could be possible, and that Capcom was thinking about releasing it with the PS3 and 360 version of the game, now that sounds cool! Plus as much as KOF:XII uses all new HD 2D graphics, I can't see how it would be hard for them to scale the graphics down for a possible Wii version.

I've never been a fan of Tekken nor Soul Calibur. However, if they made a m+ SC played from a similar perspective as Gladiator A.D., that would be definately worth checking out.

Face Palm Seen the new Samurai Shodown game? It's still got that Japanese Anime flavour except they've put in Mortal Kombat Style fatalities... thanks SNK.... you can do so much better...

Well, I'm not a fan of Tekken either (seems no one here is) but I'm always up for more third-party Wii support.

I totally forgot how much I loved the Tekken series, I say bring it on!
