Topic: Mario Kart Online Problems

Hey guys,
I got into mario kart online racing random people recently. It's all good fun, but I can only play a maximum of 4 races, till I get an error message, saying reject the disc and restart the console.
is this a common error? Is it my connection or why does this happen. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?

In the races you can have do people flicker about, jumping from place to place? if so it could be your connection.

nope, no issues with opponents appearing and disappeaing, it mostly happens after the races and only seldomly during. usually, after 3 or 4 races.

That is odd, I've never experienced it or heard of others doing so. :/ Have you tried a lens cleaner thingy?

my wii is fairly new. bought it in september last year. after the price drop. and mario kart is the only game that's giving me an error message. it plays fine offline, so it must be an online issue.

Do you notice a drop in your connection any other times? Have you got your router set up properly? _{I'm just guessin' now}

I guess it's just my connection, since no one seems to have ever faced this error message. it's nothing grave, I just restart the console and get back online, but it's a lil bummer that I can't make more than 3 or 4 races in one sitting.

Check to see if ur router has any firmware updates available. I had to update mine since I noticed that CoD MW: RE lagged in the online mode. Updating my router fixed that easily
