I won a free copy too but it's just 1,000 points. I really didn't want the game so I used the points on something else.

I was a winner of the Furry Legends contest too. I got the email from GameLion this morning with my 1000 Nintendo Points code. I will be downloading the game very soon. I'll try to post some impressions of it later today.

Wow, is anyone here actually going to use the points they won on Furry Legends? I know that I'm getting it because I originally wanted it.

If they really cared, they would have sent the game via gifting like many other wiiware contests. They kinda set themselves up for this, to be honest.

According to the rules and contracts they can cancel your Wii Shop account for not following the guideline.

I had no idea I had a Wii Shop account O.o

I can't seem to find it anymore. It was on the Facebook page. I remember reading the bottom very closely because I didn't have a Facebook and I was reading if I indeed needed one. It said something like, "You need to use the 1000 points to buy Furry Legends only, failing to due so may result in a suspension of your Wii Shop Account". I'm still looking trough the blogs though, haven't given up yet.

^ You do, it's linked to your Wii. If you erase the account you loose all the games you downloaded.

They can't erase your account. Only Nintendo has permission to do that, and I highly doubt they'll allow them to do it.

Yeah, the contest did say it was for 1000 points and I suppose GameLion figured the winners would just put those points towards Furry Legends. They probably should have just gifted the game instead. Oh well, I'm not here to judge. I just think it's kind of sad that people are getting something else instead of the game they supposedly entered the contest for. I'm still getting Furry Legends. Anyway, congratulations to all the winners and hopefully you get something really cool with your points.
