Ok, so I just finished playing (read "getting my but kicked a little, but not too badly) a bit of Conduit before bedtime, you know, just to make sure I have the wackiest dreams possible, and I think I stumbled across something pretty cool.

If you don't wanna know, then click away, nothing to see here....

Go on now....

Still here? Okay then. In the first mission, once you've destroyed all the canisters in the infirmary and are on the way to the water treatment facility, you pass a forklift in the hallway after the right-hand turn. There's a radio on it. I pretty much ignored all the other radios, but for some reason I clicked on this one once and after a short "broadcast," a woman's voice began speaking numerals in 4-digit blocks. They were definitely repeating after either 12 or 16 digits, I can't remember. And, naturally, I was like paralyzed by the coolness factor and unable to fetch a pen - or my mobile - quickly enough to jot down the numbers. I'm guessing they're an unlock code for something in the options or cheats menu. I tried to relisten to the code, but it wouldn't repeat.

I Googled Conduit radio code and saw that there are other numeric sequences being broadcast on certain radios, but those numbers range from 0 through 26, and clearly spell out messages when deciphered. Not the one I'm talking about though. They were 0 through 9 only, and in those 4-digit blocks you'd expect for an unlock code.

Anyone else come across this and get the digits?

No, I didn't. Maybe because I don't have the game. Sounds awesome though! If it unlocks something amazing, then I will buy this game sometime soon.

You mean that station where the girl is really hard to understand and have to listen carefully to even get a slight is=dea to what she saying? if so maybe i need to take another listen to all the radios.

Vendetta

No, not that station - this was very clear. And it was the first station that came on when I hit the radio. I tried flipping through all the channels, but I could never get that one back. I may just restart the mission and see what happens.

I figured that was probably a wii freind code of one of the designers or something like that instead of a cipher.... when I went back and found another radio or tried to repeat the same radio the station was in another language. So I don't think it is a cipher but I could be wrong... what are your thoughts on it possibly being a conduit freind code?

Would make sense if they were able to generate one prior to finalizing the code and releasing the game. Otherwise, it might be a Wii console code? If I hear it again, I'll jot it down and post it here. Meanwhile, if anyone gets to it before I do, feel free to share!

I will also attempt this... If we can get the code we will probably be able to figure out what it means or where it goes... I do think that maybe depending on when you access that station it may be a random audio file that plays instead of being constant like most stations are... I have tried the same radio to get a different thing... going to try again right now... lol

OK.... I will admit this may be wrong but i did my best... will try to go back and check my numbers... but I went to the first radio and just kept flipping through the channels one of the number channels was in french and I tried to keep up with the numbers.... in french the numbers were different. lots of Zeros and 9's... I speak english and have taken a french class but was a little rusty so could not keep up. but everytime you flip to that channel it changes and I do not know how many variations there are. but the code I got was just like you said and very audible... problem though was my pen was running out of ink so I kinda panicked but this is the sequence I got. "55261324274440557099038139766521696996778419892813... end!" at least it sounded like end... so I may be wrong but I will try to check the number and add what sounds like possible breaks? either it has breaks for a possible code, or maybe the breaks are for people trying to write it down either way if this is the code I will need help if not I'll try to update. It was way longer than I thought. If someone has corrections or found a different code please post, or any possible ideas on a cipher.

Ok.... well I went to check my other code and I got another one that was way more uniform... 0096-2251-2110-8105... not sure what to do with this code but that is what it was I tried it on different things... it was an invalid wii speak freind code and I'm not sure if the line breaks are supposed to be there but there was a definite pause... keep me posted if anyone finds another or what to do with this one.... btw I think this is the same as the french code.... the other longer string of code maybe a deciphered to tell what to do with this code? just a thought, tell me what you think.

Has anybody tried it as a wii points card number?

Wii friend code: 4851 0320 2775 0243 MarioKart Wii: 3008 3258 4955 Super Smash Bros Brawl: 3180 1076 7318

K the number seperation for the first code I posted is as follows- 55261-32427-44405-57099-03813-97665-21698-99677-84198-92814.... the only other thing I have to report is I heard another weird broadcast, one starting with the phrase Mike India Whiskey... and then I was unable to write down any more of that one... but it was like a number then "Delta" 2 numbers, then the pattern started over... will try to find that one since it actually incorporates words... anyone have comments or thoughts?

K I think I figured out what it is... google the shorter number and you get some strange results... don not know about the larger number but there is a possibility that a cipher does exist... but what I basically got out of it was that the government supposedly uses shortwave stations to broadcast codes and this is one? something like that.

This sounds more like it, and they ring a bell. Or maybe I'm just "willing it" into my memory upon seeing it. The string I heard was VERY clear, VERY uniform, VERY obviously a code in 4-digit increments. It sounds like it may have repeated once or twice. Remember, the string above could begin with any of the 4-digit segments, so there are 4 possibilities to try!

This is a link to a bunch of recordings that may in fact be off of the Conduit... and this only makes me more confused....
There is a project called the Conet Project or TCP... which coincidently is the name of a weapon on The Conduit, What does that mean? Conspiracy or reference? lol thoughts anyone?

go to http://irdial.hyperreal.org/the%20conet%20project/disc%201/
Then check out the recording "tcp_d1_3_counting_control_irdial.mp3" and tell me if that is what you heard.

These recordings are straight from the game most of them... I don't know what it means at all but check them out and maybe it does mean something but maybe not... Hope this is the kinda answere you wanted from your post cuz' I am still baffled, thanks for giving me the idea of tracking down the meaning of the numbers but I wish I had found something more conclusive, but I don't know what now...

Hmmmm... seems like I found one of those little threads hanging off your sweater, that when you pull it, starts unravelling the whole damn thing! This is starting to sound complicated - but if it goes somewhere cool, I really have to tip my hat to the developers for the intrigue and layering going on here.

I just tried it as a download ticket and as wii points. All 4 possibilities. None worked

http://www.irdial.com/crackhome.htm <---- cipher site about the conet project

Yeah I think it goes deep... I think that there is a recording on the game recorded specifically for it... and the other recording are to lead you to the cipher sites or to find out where they came from if that is the case then if we could find the one not on the TCP site then we would at least have a start... I still haven't found the recording for the really long number sequence I found. Any ideas V?
