In the later missions of single player campaign of The Conduit there are radio transmissions where a female voice reads seemingly random sequences of numbers. Here is one such sequence: 11, 6, 11, 11, 22, 7, 0, 22, 9, 9, 12, 9, 0, 24, 26, 6, 8, 22, 23, 0, 9, 12, 8, 4, 22, 15, 15, 21, 18, 20, 19, 7, 0, 26, 13, 23, 0, 23, 18, 22, 0, 21, 12, 9, 0, 7, 19, 22, 0, 13, 4, 12.
Notice that all the numbers are between 0 and 26. Let 0 represent a blank space and replace the remaining numbers by the corresponding letter of the alphabet to get the following: KFKKVG VIILI XZFHVW ILHDVOO URTSG ZMW WRV ULI GSV MDL. Then use the following correspondence to decode the cipher text: A --> Z; B --> Y; C --> X; D --> W, ..., Y --> B, Z --> A. Applying this scheme gives the message: PUPPET ERROR CAUSED ROSWELL FIGHT AND DIE FOR THE NWO. I found this on a website try using that code desequencer
then again maybe it means nothing... either way it was really interesting finding out this much... tell me if you guys have any luck or any ideas what it means... though I think if there is a code on the game that isn't part of the TCP project then that would be something... if that is the case then something may be found from it but if not then it may just be an obscure references that intriqued the game designers so they threw it in.
That's what I found when I Googled for numeric radio codes in the Conduit before I started this thread. But I couldn't find anything regarding this 16-digit sequence. The one you posted above makes sense to put in the game as kind of an easter egg that rewards us with an actual message. But after reading meaning Bobertoup's find at http://www.irdial.com/crackhome.htm, I don't think we're actually meant to get anything out of the 16-digit code I found other than a cool, X-Files type chill down your spine when you realize that stuff like this goes on in the real world.
Yeah I would like to think that they at least put something in there that isn't just random strings of code or something to actually discover but it is really cool just learning about all this stuff... Jangonov has a good point and that cipher is a cool one but most of these are only 1-9 so unless we had a different cipher or something we couldn't do much with these numbers... I will try to find somthing else but I am leaving now.. cya guys.
glad I could help you find this V? I just wish that more of an "Easter egg" type thing existed.and I will check out and see if I can find what Jangonov is talking about... sounds theasible and I really hope there is more to this but maybe I'll just waste a bunch of time on just a cool reference in an amazing game either way it sounds fun.
Yeah I was spooked when I found out... I thought the same thing but then I was like... Ok so it is a references... and yes it creeps me out to, all in all I'm glad me and V found out about this really awesome in game reference.
