Topic: WiiU issue...

I just got a new WiiU for my birthday today!
It replaces my old one, Ninty already transferred my Account to it.
However, I'm having an issue with it.
When I download a game to the External Western Digital 2TB Hard Drive, I keep getting an error code telling me that the Data is corrupt.
It tells me to turn off the system and try again.
I do so and it still happens.
I called Ninty this morning and they tried to help but the only thing they told me was not to redownload all of my old software at once... (This Unit replaces my old one)
So, I did that and it is fine for the smaller VC games.
But it still does it for the WiiU Retail Download games.
So, now, I'm downloading with the External Hard Drive unplugged directly to the WiiU. Then I have to turn off the System, plug in the External Hard Drive and transfer over everything.
Has anyone else had this problem?

It was formatted today already.
The WiiU even gets an error code (same one) every once in a while even if the hard drive isn't connected...

And the issue still persists!

Please don't bump your thread, if your having problems contact nintendo.

I tried Nintendo, they couldn't help.
I was hoping that maybe someone that hasn't been on yet today would see this.

Try updating your router firmware. If your internet connection is not stable, sometimes that can corrupt your download data.

It could perhaps be an issue with not enough power to the HDD? Do you use external power for the HDD, or an Y-cable?

Do you have other USB devices connected to the Wii U, such as Ethernet adapter or Smash Gamecube controller?

Have you tried all 4 USB ports on the Wii U to see if such a change made any difference?

Just the hard drive.
No, I have only tried just the top two USB ports.

Ok, so just got off the phone with Ninty... again...
The System is bad (lemon) I need to swap it for a new one.

2nd WiiU also having an issue downloading to the internal storage!
I think that there is an issue with the Super Mario 3D World bundle systems.
