Topic: Question about Batman A O for those who have it

Can you play the game on the big TV and get the sound to come out of the gamepad so I can mute that TV and still have sound? I have small children and sometimes play while my wife tries to sleep. (the U is in my bedroom)

It's not out on the Wii U yet as it's been delayed as well as on the 3DS for two weeks.

But I'm pretty such it's been confirmed it will have off-tv play.

Some games have off screen but then cut out the big TV, I am asking if this has off screen with the big TV still showing the game, or at least the option to have the sound come out of the headphones on the Gamepad. Features that games like Windwaker do not have, which should be standard.

Jellitoe, I know what your talking about. I have my copy of Batman AO, but have not had time to play it. I'm hoping to get some time tonight. Your right I don't like the fact that Windwaker does not play audio from the gamepad unless you actually play it on the gamepad, but other games like Mario work fine.

I have it. That might only work if you plug headphones into the game pad itself.

Grandmaster is right the external speaker on the game pad does not work, however the headphone jack does indeed work. So far I like it on the Wii U looks and plays great. My only rant is the gamepad screen is just used as a live map, I haven't noticed anything else you can do on it.
