Why is Nintendo land not available to download from the (US) eshop?

I'm guessing Nintendo is trying to phase this game out. They also pulled it out from console bundles. It was a huge flop.

For some reason it wasn't available in the eShop even during launch. I guess b/c at that time, they didn't think it was needed b/c it was included in the Delux version. It's not a bad game- in fact, I think it's a great intro to the system. I think they should put it on eShop for those who got the Mario/Luigi bundles and the Wind Waker bundle.

Wii Party U isn't in the eShop either. It was never added in fact, because it was bundled with the console, so basically everyone had it. Now it's bundled with the wii remote. I don't think it was a flop by far, I read great praise for it and I read a lot of people liked it who played it and who weren't writing the reviews, but I don't think they count it as a top selling game even if it was bundled in, like they did with MKWii and previous titles. It's a day 1 game though, so it's older now is probably all it is. They want to move on from Nintendo Land and deal with the 'newer' Wii Party U, until they basically drop that and do another thing. (ugh pls not mario party 10 disaster)
In fact Nintendo Land & Wii Party U have the same situation nearly. Neither in eShop, both have Wii remote bundles, both were bundled with either Wii or WiiU (even if one was the predecessor lol)
