Should the DSi (or DS2) provide VC support, what would you get?
GAME BOY (250 points each, 300 for Super Game Boy version) Donkey Kong '94 (SGB) Super Mario Land (SGB) Wario Land (SGB) Kirby's Dream Land (SGB) Duck Tales (SGB)
GAME BOY COLOR (500 points each) Link's Awakening DX
How exactly would Super Mario Land, Wario Land, and Kirby's Dream Land benefit from being SGB as opposed to GB? None of those had special support for it.
I think the B&W GB games would be 400 points, then GBC at 500, and if GBA were to be included, 800 or 1000 points. But anyway, I bought a whole ton of GB games via eBay at the start of the year, including Link's Awakening DX and Super Mario Land II, so I'm good.

That sounds closer to what they'd do. I wouldn't be surprised if GB started at 500, though it doesn't seem right for them to cost as much as an NES game, esp. the early ones.
Assuming you can only get original games (no remakes like Links Adventure DX or Pokemon FireRed LeafGreen) this is what I'd get. Though, many of these games I didn't play originally, so I'd probably prefer the remakes. Anyhoo.
What I'd download: GB Super Mario Land (whole series) Donkey Kong Donkey Kong Land (series) Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening Metroid II Wario Land Pokemon Yellow Final Fantasy Adventure
GBC LoZ: OoA LoZ: OoS Wario Land 2&3 Shantae
GBA LoZ: Minish Cap MK: Super Circuit Metroid Fusion Metroid Zero Mission M&L Superstar Saga Mario vs. DK Pokemon Emerald LoZ: ALttP w/ Four Swords WW: Twisted
GG Would get the original carts unless my GG gave up the Ghost.
NeoGeo Pocket Color Sonic Pocket Color or whatever that game was called.
I think the more interesting question is what 3rd party games would you buy on a DSiVC. I don't see a whole lot listed. Maybe that's why Ninty is hesitant?
I am way too lazy to think of something clever. My Backloggery
Yeah, 500 points would be typical of Nintendo (although 400 would be reasonable).
GB: 400- slightly less than GBC due to its lack of color GBC: 500- equivalent of the NES SGB: 100- added to the price of the GB games GG: 500- equivalent of Master System
And if they so choose Neo Geo Pocket: 450 points (half the NG) Neo Geo Pocket Color: 500 points (50 more for color) Virtual Boy: 250 points (and an extra $50 for the peripheral) Atari Lynx: 500 points Game Boy Advance: 800 ponts (equivalent of SNES) Game & Watch: 100 points, or whatever they charge now

WonderSwan
Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeons Digimon series Gunpey Klonoa: Moonlight Museum
GBA
Ninja Five-O Mother 3 Kuru Kuru Kururin
I think I got more but that's the crux of it at least. As you can see, I like handhelds quite a bit.
The reason why GBA games would probably be 1000 points is because they are relatively recent, and are in the same generation as GameCube games. Plus, most GBA games go for about $10+ at GameStop anyway. And those are used.
The SGB was a big deal, since you could play all your favorite GB games in color. I didn't have a GB until the GBC, so I'm too familiar with the color palette rather than the GB's urine-colored screen or the GBP's black & white screen.
