It's week two of The Hanabi Festival and from tomorrow you'll be able to download two more games that weren't originally available in the UK. This week's Hanabi Virtual Console downloads are Bomberman 94 and Zoda's Revenge and they're joined in the Wii Shopping Channel by the WiiWare games 5 Spots Party and Gloves Of Glory. ArtStyle: Boxlife is also available through the DSiWare service.

Bomberman 94
Bomberman 94 (700 Points) was originally released for Turbografx in Japan in 1993 but it was ported to Mega Drive a year later in the UK under the name Mega Bomberman. So it sort of has already been released over here. There is a story about Bomberman returning to restore peace to Bomber Planet - which has been split into five parts by the evil Bagular - but all you need to know is that there are 10 stages of classic bombing action and you can team up with friends for tag team matches.

Zoda's Revenge: Startropics II
Zoda's Revenge: Startropics II (600 Points) was a 1994 time travelling adventure for the NES. It sees Mike Jones, high-school ace pitcher and part-time adventurer, returning to travel through time. One of the last Nintendo games to be released on NES (Wario's Woods was the last), Mike goes on a journey through history from the Stone Age to the Wild West, meeting Leonardo da Vinci and Cleopatra along the way before facing the avengers of Zoda, the alien leader whom Mike defeated at the climax of his first adventure.

5 Spots Party
That's all from this week's Hanabi Festival releases but you can also download two WiiWare games. 5 Spots Party (500 Points) from Cosmonaut Games is a spot the difference game. In three playing modes, the goal is to find the greatest number of differences in the pictures shown. In the party modes, you compete with other players and find as many mistakes as possible. In the One Player mode, you must find the differences before time runs out in order to beat the game's highest scores.

Karate Phants: Gloves Of Glory
Next is Karate Phants: Gloves Of Glory (800 Points), a fighting game from Snapdragon games. Featuring characters from Otto Waalkes' comic strip, you have to fight your way to the top of the tournament by defeating all the computer-controlled fighters. Or you can fight against a friend in the two player mode.

Art Style: Boxlife
This week's DSiWare release is Art Style: Boxlife (500 Points). This new game in the puzzle series has you building boxes as quickly and carefully as possible. All you have to do is use the touch screen to cut and fold paper into shapes to make your boxes. In R&D Mode you have to discover the many different patterns that form boxes and use them to cut and construct boxes against the clock. Factory Mode has you trying to make a profit by constructing as many boxes as you can in a set time, using an endless sheet of paper. Wasted paper means lost cash and less to spend on items for your home.

That's all for this week. What do you think of the Hanabi Festival so far?

How similar is Bomberman '94 to Super Bomberman 3?

I've got my points on my Wii already to download the next three chapters on FFIV: The After Years! I look forward to these chapters more than anything else that gets released on the WiiWare these days. I'll gladly give Square 3800 points for this.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

^ Same. Let's hope it's worth the 800 points as it does show promise.
