Is that best seller a sticker or actually printed on because if it is printed on it may effect value as it shows it isn't from the original batch or whatever, but I'm no expert on the matter.
Its printed on there as a logo. They had 3 versions. The launch one said Nintendos Best 4 player fighter on it (2001), the second version had a best seller logo (early 2002) cuz it sold well at launch, and then the 3rd was the yellow players choice (2004). Its more valuable than the players choice as black label games are always more valuable. No one really looks at the best seller logo. It does not affect value. The 2001 and 2002 ones go for the same price idk why.
so it means I have the launch version!!!
if it wasn't in terrible condition I'd sell it to buy the cheaper one while netting some extra money
