Hello everyone;
So I recently decided to play Super Mario Advance 4 again, I had finnished a while ago, I just wanted to play it because it is great but when I select the file that I finnished and get to the "select a mode" screen, for some reason the game doesn't allow me to play on the Mario mode, I can only play on the Mario&Luigi mode.
Does anybody have an Idea of what could have happened to that file?

When you start a new game, you choose between 'Mario (single player) and 'Mario & Luigi' (multiplayer, of sorts). You cannot change your mode once you start you game. As a result, this means that your file is being used for a multiplayer game and cannot be changed. The only reason the menu exists is so people can tell what kind of game they are playing, so they can ensure they pick the right file.

Hope this helped!

Well buidz I'm afraid that is not correct. I just tested it on a new file and it doesn't work like that. Thanks for trying to help anyways.

I think I'm talking about the SMAS (Super Mario All-Stars) version of the game instead; I remember it being like that there. Sorry for the wrong info, the SMAS version of SMB3 is quite similar to the SMA4 version of SMB3, you see!
