Topic: So where do you stand on the whole Snes vs Megadrive

For me they are both great consoles. Back in the day I bought the Sega Megadrive, mainly because I had the Sega Master System (Mark 2), which I in turn had bought because a friend had the NES, and I wanted the best of both worlds (more systems = larger library). Fortunately this friend's brother in law had a SNES, which I could borrow any time I wanted, so I spend a great amount of time playing both Megadrive and SNES games. Both systems have games which I still end up playing these days, though I have to say that I feel games back then were far less forgiving than today's games.

I must say Warsong on the Genesis was my favourite game for the system hands down. The Genesis did nothing wrong, the only criticism I could throw at it is Sega 1st party games were notoriously too easy and dull because of it.

I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.

SNES for me but Mega Drive had many awesome games, many of them were not appreciated enough. 16-bit was the Golden Age of video games.
