Topic: Scart to hdmi converter

Hi, sorry if this has been done before.
Has anyone here tried the converters from hdcables.co.uk? (they were in the news section months ago).

I bought the scart to hdmi converter in the hope it would make my snes and megadrive look all lovely, but it seems to make the picture worse.

Anyone else had similar results? Or can you point me in the right direction so I could get a nice crisp picture.
