Topic: Is the Battallion Wars series any good

i'm lookling for a new single player (i'm tired of all the multiplayer only ones) shooter to play that isn't mainstream is battalion wars any good

They're good games, and certainly not very mainstream, but they're more in the realm of real-time tactics than shooters, although you certainly do get to do a lot of shooting in them.

Think of Advance Wars but in the third person and in real time.

I hope this gets a re-release like Advance Wars did.

I like them. Battalion Wars is decent shooter mixed with a decent RTS, but put together it's more than the sum of it's parts. Kind of like Act Raiser in that regard.

Definitely more strategy than shooter. I recently replayed the first one on my GameCube. Still fun! I remember BWii being even better, but haven't had a chance to go back to it again.
