Topic: Which 3-D Sonic got the best overall reception?

We all know Sonic 2 was probably the best recieved 2-D Sonic. Though I myself prefer Sonic 3 combined with Knuckles.
Anyway I won't get into how generally bad 3-D Sonics tend to be. I just wanna know if there was one 3-D Sonic you almost loved as much as the classics what would it be? I'm Assuming it's one of the Adventure games right? I'm trying to keep high hopes for colors but even that one looks a bit iffy. We'll have to wait and see. Meantime I'll be kicking it oldschool with Sonic 4!

Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle are tied for the most well-recieved. I can't really say much about them since I'm blinded by Nostalgia since I spent way too many hours as a kid playing them, and every time I play them again, I still have a ton of fun with them.

My favorite 3D one is Sonic Hereos. That game rocked my world.

Sonic Unleashed was my fave 3D Sonic game. I hated the story (and Chip...) though.

Only the Sonic parts.
but other then that, I still enjoy it.
