So VGX is this Saturday and we should be getting a ton of news about next year's slate of games. Its going to be focused on the awards and getting developer previews and world premires from way of the Pope himself.

I assume the SE games will be the new Sleeping Dogs and Tomb Raider.

I've never seen the show live, but everything I've seen of the previous version of this show...has not been good .

Let's just say the most popular award ceremony for my favorite hobby shouldn't involve me thinking of a sentence that starts with "I don't really drink but..."

I work Saturday night, so I'll miss it. There are rumour of Mass Effect 4 and Uncharted 4 being shown, but I doubt either one will show up
I try to watch the VGAs every year, but I usually change the channel because I'm usually unimpressed.

Wait, they're making a Tomb Raider sequel already? I thought Square Enix weren't happy with sales...?

Sales were decent enough for a reset IP at the end of the generation. The actress who's current Lara Croft will be at VG, and the rumor is Square is announcing a version of the game for XBO/PS4 alongside a teaser for the next game in the series.

The VGX needs to die. It humilates the gaming industry and stereotypes all of us. The only good thing about the silly show is that new trailers and announcements are made. I refuse to watch the show. Its a dudebro kind of show: "Look at this, braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!" "BRAH, CHECK OUT THIS!!!"

Now Nintendo is showing something at the show and I really hope with all my heart... that Nintendo doesn't show anything unerwhelming because they will get made fun of.

If fallout 4 is here, then that will rock,
If GTAV wins, it will suck,
If F-Zero is announced, there will be joy.

What do you guys think Nintendo will be showing at VGX?
Bayonetta, X, Smash Bros or Mario Kart are what I'm thinking. Unless they drop the bomb on us and show something completely new (I wouldn't complain if they showed Metroid, but they probably won't).

Last year's honestly wasn't that and as much people tend to hate the show it has awesome reveals at the outset its the MTV ,movie/music video awards for gaming. If you want something much more respectable the Dice and GDC awards should be coming up soon.

This year seems to be much different since its 3 hours and won't be tradtonal awards show forgoeeing most of the skits with developer walkthroughs and reveals.

That video was pretty ridiculous. They weren't even talking and pretending to laugh. I could tell that was such a setup and it's hard to watch, really... That just makes me care less, even though I do go to McDonald's.
