This topic is about your thoughts on a possible PS3 Price Drop at any time and any rumors or news that you are to find on the matter. It was supposedly announed that the PS3 production cost has been cut by 70% leading up to this August and the production cost is no around $250, I wounder if this will mean a price-drop.

Why must everyone say their topic is official? o.O I sure hope there is a price-drop as that's the only thing keeping me from getting a PS3. It sure couldn't hurt PS3 sales either.

Same here from getting a PS3 and I call it official becuase I couldn't find any other forums on this.

There's a huge misconception out there that just any user can decide a thread is official.

And this is a topic, not a forum. And I'm not sure that many people care enough to comment on the subject.
